Welcome to the CLEAR Learning NCIT Online Basic Program Final Exam! Arriving at this page means you are well on your way to scheduling your NCIT Basic or Specialized Online exam.
There are now two ways to take your CLEAR NCIT Basic Program Final Exam. As a candidate you have the option to take your exam either in a Prometric Testing Center or through a remotely proctored, internet-enabled location of your choice. If you chose to take your exam remotely, you must provide a computer with a webcam, microphone, and a reliable internet connection.
Scheduling your Exam
Click the Schedule link for your preferred exam method from the options available on the left side of this window. For both options you will be required to provide your Eligibility Number and the first four characters of your last name. Follow the instructions provided to schedule your exam using your preferred delivery method.
Prometric Testing Centers

Remotely Proctored Exams
Online, remote exams are offered using Prometric’s ProProctor™ application. For a remotely proctored exam, you must have access to a computer with a stable internet connection and be able to install a lightweight app prior to the test event. Additionally, you must have a webcam and microphone enabled on your device. You will be able to take the exam online while a Prometric proctor oversees the examination process remotely. ProProctor™ System Requirements: to take your exam remotely, you are required to provide a device that meets the following specifications.
- Laptop/PC Power Source: Please plug your device directly into a power source, not attached to or through a docking station.
- Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080 is the minimum resolution required
- Operating System: Windows 10 or higher | MacOS 10.13 to 12.6.5 and Ventura 13.3.1 and above are supported. Important: MacOS Ventura 13.0 to 13.2.1 are not supported; please upgrade to 13.3.1 before testing.
- Web Browser: Current version of Google Chrome
- Internet Connection Speed: 0.5 mbps or greater. Please position your device where you can receive the strongest signal. For the best experience, please use an Ethernet cable to connect directly to the router.
Note: ProProctor™ will not work on any of the following devices: Linux devices, tablets, iPads, Chromebooks, or Microsoft Surface Pros. This software is only compatible with PC/MAC Laptops and Desktops that meet the requirements listed above.

Reschedule/Cancel Policy
Please make sure you will be able to take the test at the time you select before selecting the session.
If you request to reschedule your testing appointment between 29 and 5 days before your originally scheduled appointment, Prometric will assess you a $35 fee to reschedule.
If for any reason you must reschedule your testing session less than 5 days before your originally scheduled appointment, contact CLEAR to facilitate this change. Testing appointments that need to be rescheduled less than 5 days before the originally scheduled appointment may result in an additional fee assessed to you or your organization by CLEAR. Payment of this fee will be required before you are allowed to reschedule your exam.
If you must cancel your testing session, you will forfeit your selected session and must reschedule with CLEAR at a later date, for an additional fee.
