Important BPS Examination Updates – please read before scheduling:

Below is a breakdown of the upcoming and current BPS Examination Administrations.

• Fall 2024 Window Examination Administration: Registration and scheduling for BCEMP and BCTXP will be open from July 8, 2024, until August 26, 2024. The testing window will run from September 24, 2024, through October 15, 2024. 

• “New” Continuous Testing Examination Administration: Registration and scheduling for BCACP, BCGP, BCIDP, BCPS, and BCSCP will open July 8, 2024.  Continuous testing for these exams will be administered starting September 24, 2024.

• Current Continuous Testing Examination Administration: Continuous testing, registration, and scheduling for BCOP, BCCP, BCNP, BCPP, BCCP, BCNSP, and BCPPS is available now.

INFORMATION FOR LRP APPOINTMENTS:

BPS has partnered with Prometric to provide live remote proctored (LRP) testing. To be eligible, candidates must be approved to test and reside in the U.S., Canada, or Australia (only). If you are considering LRP for your upcoming exam, please be sure to review the BPS Candidates Guide, which notes policies related to LRP, before you schedule your examination You will be asked to agree to the specific terms and conditions before you schedule your LRP appointment.

INFORMATION FOR TEST CENTER APPOINTMENTS:

Admission Documents

All BPS candidates must present a non-expired government or nationally issued photo- and signature- bearing identification to test. Candidates will be required to sign in and will be instructed where to store personal items and where to keep identification. The candidate’s identity will be verified every time they enter or leave the testing room.

Candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam room unless proper identification as described above is presented. The candidate’s name as it appears on the confirmation email must match the candidate’s name as it appears on non-expired government or nationally issued photo and signature bearing identification.

INFORMATION FOR ALL BPS APPOINTMENTS:

Cancelling or Rescheduling

Candidates may cancel or reschedule a Certification or Recertification exam up to five (5) calendar days prior to the scheduled examination appointment, through Prometric’s scheduling system. BPS staff will not process change requests.

Cancel/Reschedule fees will be charged as follows:

• 30 or more days prior to appointment: $35 fee collected by Prometric at time of transaction.
• 29-5 days prior to appointment: $60 fee collected by Prometric at time of transaction.
• Less than 5 days prior to appointment: no cancel/reschedule allowed. Your full test fee will be retained by BPS.

Name and/or Address Changes
All applicant name changes must be submitted to BPS within 10 business days of the candidate’s scheduled exam. Candidates are responsible for immediately notifying BPS of any address change (including e-mail) or legal name change.  Notification for admission to the examination, communication of test results, maintenance of certified status and renewal of certification depend on BPS having current information. 

The name you submit with your application must match your non-expired government or nationally issued photo- and signature-bearing identification. (e.g., driver’s license, passport, military ID card, or valid national identification card). Failure to provide BPS with a name matching your identification may result in a denial to enter the testing center on your scheduled examination date and forfeiture of all associated fees. Late Arrivals
Candidates who arrive at the testing site or launch the remote exam 30 minutes after their scheduled testing appointment may be denied admission and will forfeit all testing fees.
