Scheduling your exam:

Candidates have two options for taking a MET Retake. You have the option to take your exam at a Prometric Test Center or at a remote location of your choice. By choosing a remote proctored exam, you will provide a computer with a camera and a reliable internet connection, and you are assuming responsibility for any interruptions, which may void your exam.

Make your choice on the left-hand side of the page to get started, and then follow the on-screen prompts.

Before selecting the Remotely Proctored option, please perform the ProProctor™ system check and also review the ProProctor™ User Guide. Important- The system check may be performed before scheduling your appointment with Prometric BUT you will not be able to download the ProProctor application until you have scheduled your appointment with Prometric.

Important Test Day Reminders

• Review your appointment confirmation email or click here to confirm your appointment time.
• Check in
  • Begin the process at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment time for Remotely Proctored exams.
  • Arrive at the testing center at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete the check in process prior to beginning your exam for In Center exams.
• Have valid government-issued identification on hand. Please see the Michigan Language Assessment policies webpage for accepted forms of identification. The name on your identification must be the same as the name that appears on your exam application.
• No breaks are scheduled during the exam.

For IN CENTER Testing, minors ages 15 and under will be required to have a parent or guardian accompany them to the testing center. Candidates ages 16-17 may be accompanied by a parent or guardian OR arrive with a signed parental release form.

Results

A link to official exam results will be emailed to you approximately five days after testing. The email will be sent to the address you used when scheduling the exam.
