Scheduling your Exam

To schedule your exam at a Prometric Testing Center select the appropriate icon on the left-hand side to get started, and then follow the on-screen prompts as you walk through the rest of the process.

After scheduling your exam, please review your appointment confirmation email to ensure that you have the correct exam, date, time, and testing location.

Rescheduling your Exam

If you find that you must reschedule your exam appointment, please do so at least 30 days or more before your scheduled exam to avoid a $100 rescheduling fee charged by Prometric. Please see the  Michigan Language Assessment policies webpage for additional information about rescheduling.

Cancellation less than 5 days before test day, failure to appear, or failing to begin the check in process at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment time will result in candidates forfeiting all fees paid.

Important Test Day Reminders

• Review your appointment confirmation email to confirm your appointment time.
• Arrive at the testing center at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete the check-in process prior to beginning your exam.
  • Minors ages 15 and under will be required to have a parent or guardian accompany them to the testing center. Candidates ages 16-17 may be accompanied by a parent or guardian OR arrive with a signed parental release form.
• Review driving directions. Allow sufficient travel time including traffic, parking, locating the test center, and checking in. Depending on the location of the testing facility, additional parking fees may apply. Prometric does not have the ability to validate parking.
• Bring valid government-issued identification. Please see the Michigan Language Assessment policies webpage for accepted forms of identification. The name on your identification must be the same as the name that appears on your exam application.
  • All other personal belongings will be kept in a locker at the testing center prior to entry into the examination room.
• No breaks are scheduled during the exam. You may take unscheduled breaks as needed but may not leave the testing facility and will not be given extra time on the exam.

Results

A link to official exam results will be emailed to you approximately five days after testing. The email will be sent to the address you used when scheduling the exam.
