What Time to Arrive for Your Exam
Plan to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time, whether you are testing in a center or with remote online proctoring.
If you arrive more than 30 minutes late to your scheduled testing time, you will not be admitted to take your online or in-person examination.
What to Bring to Your Exam
You will be required to present one valid, government-issued photo ID with a signature (such as a driver's license or passport). If you are testing outside of your country of citizenship, you must present a valid passport. If you are testing within your country of citizenship, you must present either a valid passport, driver's license, national ID or military ID. The identification document must be in Latin characters and contain your photograph and signature. Please also bring any reference materials required for your exam as outlined in the BMSC Candidate Handbook found here: https://ahcc.decisionhealth.com/candidate-handbook/?/. Please make sure to read the BMSC Candidate Handbook linked from this page for important exam details.
Except for any testing materials permitted by AHCC, all other items must be locked in a locker for test security purposes if testing in a test center or left outside of your testing environment if you are testing with live online proctoring.
Technical Specifications for Live Online Proctored Exams
If you are testing remotely, you must ensure your computer meets the technical specifications explained here.
Your computer also must support resolution of 1920x1080. Please note that the system check does not check this technical requirement, so this must be done manually.
For important details about how to set up the area where you plan to take your remotely proctored exam, please visit the ProProctor candidate portal and review the ProProctor User Guide.
