London, UK, October 7, 2008 -- Prometric, the leading global provider of technology-enabled testing and assessment services, has been chosen by The Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) to exclusively provide computer- based testing in Prometric’s vast network of Test Centres across the United Kingdom.
The CIOT is the leading U.K. professional body concerned solely with taxation. Members of the CIOT must pass the Institute’s ”gold standard” qualification and demonstrate three years of relevant professional experience before they can apply the designatory letters CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser) to their names and titles.
Prometric will be providing CTA candidates with computer-based testing for the “Law” and “Professional Responsibilities and Ethics” examinations. Candidates will book their examinations via seamless linking from the CIOT website, and sit the examination in one of over 50 Prometric Test Centres across the U.K.
