An Integrated Solution for the HIPAA Academy

HIPAA requires the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to develop standards that ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of patient healthcare information. To assist companies in understanding and implementing these requirements, the HIPAA Academy partnered with Prometric to create a learning and certification program.
The Challenge
HIPAA required an integrated learning solution to meet the detailed requirements of HIPAA legislation, which protects patient privacy, within very tight deadlines.
The Solution
The Prometric partnership includes e-learning courseware from NETg, instructor-led manuals developed by Course Technology, and a certification testing program managed and delivered by Prometric. This integrated approach provided the HIPAA Academy with an efficiently developed and consistent program.
